GET TO KNOW ME
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I come to this work after pursuing a lifelong passion of helping others in their healing journey. I completed my studies at Grand Canyon University, and have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis in Trauma.
In addition to my formal studies, I volunteered with my local fire department's Crisis Response team for 5 1/2 years, which gave me the opportunity to provide comfort to individuals across all walks of life. I have also been a long-time volunteer with my church, providing mentoring and care for women in crisis.

I have been privileged to be married to my husband for more than 35 years, and we are the parents of 2 grown children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my dogs.

I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan, and it is my privilege to provide a faith-based approach to my clients who are seeking to integrate their faith in the therapeutic process. I am passionate about the importance of the therapeutic relationship and its ability to help individuals heal and find hope in their future. I am accepting new clients on a limited basis and am trained to offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) services.
I feel honored that God chose me for this path, and have personally seen the transformation that only He can do. Wherever you are in your own walk, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to find joy, healing, and hope.
